Larry White received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1971 and his law degree from the University of Utah in 1976. While attending the University of Utah, he clerked at the US Attorney’s office and has been engaged in litigation since 1976. Mr. White was a member of the Board of Governors while attending the University of Utah and served as Associate Editor of the Utah Bar Journal. He is a bar examiner for the Utah State Bar.
Before the formation of Burbidge & White, he was a partner at the law firm of Kirton & McConkie.
Mr. White has participated in numerous civil jury trials and workers’ compensation hearings. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys. He regularly attends Boston University School of Medicine’s Annual Conference on Medical Negligence and Risk Management in Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, and Family Medicine. Mr. White also actively participates in the Utah chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. He has litigated personal injury cases and has tried medical malpractice cases. He also litigates workers’ compensation cases. Mr. White is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and has argued cases before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and before the Utah appellate courts. He is a founding member of Burbidge & White, L.L.C. Mr. White is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
